Fiona looked out of the windowÉover to the fighting grounds. And sure enough, there were the dragons. Golden Dragons, Skyline Dragons, Fire Dragons, and alongside themÉFiona's former kind. Angels. Fiona sighed a sigh with tears held inside it. She couldn't cry now. She stood up and turned to the front of the room. She put her hands out in front of her, then closed her eyes and looked down. Pure white wings shot out of her back, but in seconds, black covered it. She opened her eyes and looked up. Her eyes had become a ruby red. Fiona smirked, 'This is me now. And I will destroy them! They aren't me anymore! This is me, I am a Mazoku. I fight alongside Zelas and Xelloss. This is me.' And with that thought she walked out of the roomÉand onto the battlefield.

Xelloss struck out at an incoming angel. It fell towards the ground. Fiona laughed and walked up behind Xelloss, "Very impressing!" She told him and laughed. "My turn!" And when the next angel came flying towards her she held out her hand and a red and black symbol shot out and that angel weakened and fell to the ground. Fiona laughed as the angel slowly suffered on the ground. The leader looked down at the slowly perishing angel. Then he looked over at Fiona. He recognized her face. He couldn't believe that it was her. 'She's one of them nowÉ' he thought and charged for Fiona. When she saw him, she tried to fight, but an inner pain struck inside of her and she couldn't attack. Xelloss jumped in front of Fiona and threw the leader flew back, leaving Fiona aloneÉfor the time.

That battle continued to rage on, with more Mazoku joining by the second. Mazoku after Mazoku charged onto the battlefield by their master's order, and more creatures, of both kinds, perished in the sunset.

It was when the moon came up high that one of the worst times in Xelloss life hit. Fiona was fighting, but another angel got behind her and shot out a dagger from her hand. It went right through Fiona. She screamed as pain hit herÉshe was hurtÉand she knew this was the end. She looked over at Xelloss and said, "You're not supposed to love. Don't grieve for me. I'm sorry."

And when the angel pulled it out of Fiona she fell to the ground. No last words directly. No time to explain. She was dead, and it happened right in front of his eyes. Xelloss looked at the angel and the smirking dragon behind it. Anger grew within his eyes, he tried to listen to what Fiona had said, but he was gone. And that's what led to attacking first, then fighting off other Mazoku so that he could destroy everyone there. When that battle was done, he went over to where Fiona was lying.

He picked up her fragile, dead figure, and nodded while saying "Goodbye Fiona. Don't be sorry."

Filia couldn't believe the story she had just heard Xelloss tell her. "I'm so sorry Xelloss." She said, and she went over to him and put her arms around his neck. The two were both stunned at this.

"It's okay Filia. That was a long time ago. It just resurfaced today. I'll shut it out again tomorrow."

Filia looked up at him, "But then wont you be shutting out your reasons to protect me?"

Xelloss stared at her. He realized this and nodded, "That's true. You and she are both so much alike." He touched Filia's cheek as a tear streamed down her face. Xelloss gave out a small laugh, "Now why are you crying, Fi-chan?"

Filia giggled and wiped the tear away, "I guess I shouldn't. You're okay, and Fiona would only want you to be happy. We're all okay."

Filia hugged Xelloss again and settled onto his shoulder. As the two sat there, a figure looked into the window.

"Filia's right." She said in a voice that echoed. "I only want you to be happy Xelloss." She said this even though she knew he couldn't hear. "Love her, Xelloss. She's a treasure, treasure her. But please don't forget me, or else you'll forget why. I love you XellossÉand I only want you to be happy."

Fiona's white figure turned around and flew away. She disappeared in the middle of the fog, but she would watch over Xelloss forever. And for one moment, Xelloss felt that she was there. And he nodded, he had another treasure now. Everything was okay. Everything wasÉ
